모순이라는 표현이 있지요. 글자그대로 본다면

Unconsistency, Contradiction, 또는 Discrepancy 등을 사용할수 있겠지요.

 

당신 말에는 모순이 있도다..

Your statement is a contradiction in terms.

당신은 말과 행동에 모순이 있도다..

Your speech is inconsistent with your behaviour.

 

모순이 많은 요즘 세상...

The society with full of inconsistencies.

The world of contradictions.

모순 투성이의 정부..

A government of much contradictions.

 

그런데 이런 어려운 단어 말고, 간단히 표현하는 것이 있지요.

바로 Double-talk 입니다. 남을 어리벙벙하게 만드는 허튼 소리, 앞뒤가 안 맞는 소리를

말하지요. 모순된 얘기...

 

What a double-talk you are giving! 무슨 그런 모순된 소리를....
